My Solo Exhibit

This Saturday I exhibited my Frederick architecture quilts at Cowork Frederick. It was a fun and learning experience. It is always nice to show your work and have people see what you have been working on for the past three years.

It was good to know where people heard about the exhibition. Many came after hearing about it in Instagram, some saw it in the local newspaper website calendar of events, some people where just walking by and someone heard about from someone in Berkeley, CA! You never know.

I just finished a quilt of the Frederick Library. It was my first collaboration with my friend Julia Triman. She is a talented local quilter that recently started quilting but is very good especially at things Iā€™m not good at so that makes us a good team. The Library quilt was one of the most popular quilts in the exhibit.
