Return to Other Quilts Gallery
Our country is breaking apart. We need to do something about it. This quilt uses Civil War era blocks and fabrics because that is almost were we are again. We have two different set of facts, we need to agree on what is true first. We have to remember we are brothers and sisters and love one another like the family we are. Finally we need to stop disrespecting and hurting each other. It is the only way this country is not going to unravel.
As part of the National Juried Exhibition, the juror Margaret Winslow from the Delaware Art Museum gave a presentation and talked a little about my piece. See full video.
